Paraprofessional educators generally assist teachers in the classroom, supervise students outside of the classroom, or provide administrative support for teaching.
The ParaPro Assessment is for candidates who have fewer than 60 credit hours of course-work and want to work in Special Education or Title I schools in Missouri. The Paraprofessional test covers reading, writing, and mathematics.

The ParaPro Assessment is administered in English only. Your total appointment time is approximately 3 hours.
The ParaPro Assessment exam and proctoring fee is $75.00. Fee is payable online and due at the time of the appointment.

If you don't pass the ParaPro Assessment, you must wait 28 days before you can retest. You must complete the registration process and submit payment again to retake the exam.
