Paraprofessional educators generally assist teachers in the classroom, supervise students outside of the classroom, or provide administrative support for teaching.
The ParaPathways Assessment is for candidates who have fewer than 60 credit hours of course-work and want to work in Special Education or Title I schools in Missouri. The Paraprofessional test covers reading, writing, and mathematics.

The ParaPathways Assessment is administered in English only. Your total appointment time is approximately 3 hours.
The ParaPathways Assessment and proctoring fee is $80.00. Fee is payable online and due at the time of the appointment.

Test takers can retake the test once as soon as they would like. If more than one retake is necessary, the test taker must wait 21 days after their most recent attempt, and then, they can retake the test two more times. Continued retakes will follow the same pattern of a 21-day waiting period after two (2) attempts.
