Students must sign up for every exam they intend to take at our center. Professors, advisors, and other individuals should not register for exams on a student's behalf.
Students must test at the same time and date as the rest of the class. If there is a schedule conflict, the student must contact the instructor to work it out. Students are responsible for getting approval from their instructor(s) to take exams at the Testing Center.
Registrations must be made at least 3 business days (72 hours) in advance of the time of the exam. Without sufficient notice, we may be unable to fulfill a request (e.g. An exam request that is made late on Friday afternoon has no guarantee of being ready on Monday morning. We do not work during weekends and campus closures).
Effective January 1, 2021, the Testing Center will be implementing a No-Show fee of $20 per appointment. Testing appointment cancellations need to be made at least 2 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
Notice: As of December 6, 2021 the Missouri S&T Testing Center has implemented a $25 fee for all appointments scheduled with less than 24 business hours’ notice.
The Testing Center policy states that all regular exams be scheduled at least 3 business days in advance and final exams should be made 15 days in advance. Without sufficient notice, we may be unable to approve late requests due to limited seating and/or staff available.
Students are responsible for scheduling their own exams. If you have questions about how to schedule an exam, please contact the Testing Center at testctr@mst.edu.
