The MAT is an exam that assesses the analytical ability of candidates for graduate school. It is a test that is often used by graduate programs as a requirement for admission. It measures the analytical skills of candidates to determine the relationships between different subject areas, or it measures the ability of your brain to make connections. Most programs requiring a MAT score will be in the education or social service areas.
