Missouri S&T Math Placement Tests
Purpose – The Math Placement Exams consist of two tests: 1) Missouri Mathematics Placement Test (MMPT) and 2) Trigonometry. These tests are used to determine which math class an incoming student will take. Even though one may have taken the ACT/SAT and have a high class rank, this test confirms that the student will be taking an appropriate math course. Success at Missouri S&T has been linked to the Math Placement Exams.
Test Format – The Math Placement Test is administered by paper/pencil
Cost – Incoming Freshman attending a PRO Day have already paid a fee. A $20 fee per test is charged for Dual Enrollment and Transfer students. This fee is payable to Missouri S&T and can be paid by cash, check, or money order.
