Purpose – The GRE Subject Tests are achievement tests that measure your knowledge of a particular field of study. Show what you know about a specific subject and graduate schools will take notice. The Subject Tests can help you stand out from other applicants by emphasizing your knowledge and skill level in a specific area. The subjects are: Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Literature in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology.

When – The GRE Subject Test is only offered at S&T in the fall. Contact us for more information regarding this year’s test.

Test Format – The Subject Tests are paper-pencil test

Cost – The fee for the Subject test is $130.  If you are taking the test as a Standby, there will be an additional $50 fee.
