Career Interest Inventories

Purpose – The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory (SII) are personal inventories used by the Counseling Center Staff when working with students who appear to be unclear in a major and/or career path. MBTI is used for personality types and SII is used for career interests.

When – Arrangements to take an inventory are made with Counseling, Disability Support and Student Wellness. Inventory is not administered until after meeting with counseling staff.

Test Format – Both the MBTI and SII are administered online

Cost – $30 fee for MBTI, $20 fee for SII - must be paid to the Testing Center, by cash, check or money order on the day inventory is administered to candidate.
