Faculty must complete a Faculty Test Proctor Form a minimum of seven business days prior to the date that the test will be administered in the Testing Center. This form may be submitted electronically at /forms_testrequest.html.
A test request for the same day will not be accepted.
To maintain test security standards and prevent student misconduct, please provide:
Faculty are responsible for delivering tests to the Testing Center at least one day before the test date.
When entering the Testing Center please do so quietly as testing may be in progress. It is recommended for faculty wishing to talk with a student prior to the test to talk with the student out in the 2nd Floor Hallway of Norwood rather than in the Testing Center.
Adherence to these deadlines will insure there is sufficient time to locate a proctor and to confirm arrangements with faculty and students. The Testing Center requires communication from both the student and faculty. A test will not be administered without a submitted request. Remember it is the student's responsibility to make an appointment in the Testing Center.
A student reporting more than 15 minutes late to a schedule appointment is required to leave the Testing Center. If this happens to a student, he/she will immediately contact the course instructor who may or may not give permission to complete that day’s exam.
Final Exam Scheduling
Final exams must be scheduled by the last Friday in October during the Fall semester and the last Friday in February during the Spring semester. If a final exam is scheduled any later than this it is possible the Testing Center will not be able to accommodate a student’s exam. Final exam dates are posted on the Registrar’s Office web page.
