Faculty Guidelines for Using Testing Services

Faculty must complete a Faculty Test Proctor Form a minimum of seven business days prior to the date that the test will be administered in the Testing Center. This form may be submitted electronically at /forms_testrequest.html

To maintain test security standards and prevent student misconduct, please provide:

  • services needed and when
  • time allowed for the test
  • materials that are permitted during the test, i.e. calculator, textbook,
formula/equation sheet(s), straight edge, protractor, etc
  • contact information

Faculty are responsible for delivering tests to the Testing Center at least one day before the test date.

When entering the Testing Center please do so quietly as testing may be in progress.  It is recommended for faculty wishing to talk with a student prior to the test to talk with the student out in the 2nd Floor Hallway of Norwood rather than in the Testing Center.

Adherence to these deadlines will insure there is sufficient time to locate a proctor and to confirm arrangements with faculty and students.   The Testing Center requires communication from both the student and faculty.  A test will not be administered without a submitted request. Remember it is the student's responsibility to make an appointment in the Testing Center.
